The first one i saw sold for over £7000. Then a few went for approx £5000. Then two weeks later down to £2000. Now two months later going under £1000.

Its not unlimited, you should consider it like a timed release, because eventually the stock will dry up and wont be available from source. Its only "unlimited" in the sense of the number of them being made available via secondary!!!

There is however a bigger issue here, and that is the behaviour, and again by the usual suspects who likes**tting on peoples sales threads, in some c*ntish attempt to talk down prices to serve their own agenda.

I would like to see sales threads being locked with no comments permitted, and only the op can edit them.  It will instantly remove a majority of the toxicity of this site.

Can't put my finger on why, maybe slight change in the shape of the rock and spray on it, but that looks a little iffy to me!

If someone that either goes to the hotel or lives near it...buys a print and resells it for 8-10x the price... they get crucified on here.

Would these same critics expect someone who was lucky enough to win the sale ends lottery at POW be expected to pass it on at cost or face the same treatment?

I don't know what others think but its the targeted attempt to get a premium from others that seems to annoy most folks to be honest. 

I feel bad for anyone that was dumb enough to donate. This won’t work boxsets are limited to one per resident. They stamp your resident card so there can’t be multiple purchases. Lmao

Or, more simply, ban all selling, as discussed above. Ebay is a good place to sell. A nice impersonal place for those that don't like the frothing at the mouth vitriol when they rip off others.

And these box sets i think are pissing pretty much everyone off at the moment, fast forward a year or so and we'll all be bitching about something else and the boxsets will be on collectors walls.

There is too much supply right now, take this profiteer with 5 of them, good luck to him for having them, and if he was selling for market price i don't think this thread would have been derailed as badly as it is now.

Where is the logic in him trying to sell something on here at 50% higher than ebay prices?

Its a bit of a piss take really, and i for one don't have a an issue with it being commented on as such.


However I don't agree with talking down prints or whatever without £ facts to back them up.


There is a lot of help on here for people who want to sell stuff, but ebay is better if people don't want criticism constructive or destructive.

I don't like this.

For one thing, you cannot guarantee the future price of box sets, as you claim. All sorts of unpredictable factors could undermine the value.

For another, unless you have an undeclared source of unlimited box sets then you have a problem with the maths. Your campaign is looking for $15,000 - say you collected that in minimum chunks of $800, you would need 19 box sets (including the one you want to keep for yourself) to fulfil your promise. I don't care what you say above, there is something dodgy going on if you are certain you can go to Bethlehem for a few days and come home with 19 box sets. And if you're not sure then you're simply making a personal guarantee you know you can't keep.

For a third, even if you could get your hands on the 19 box sets, the maths suggest this is nothing but a cynical rip-off of your contributors. I haven't checked the price of a trip to Palestine from the USA, but let's say it would set you back $3,000. Each box set will cost you another $150, so that's also $3,000 or so. Chuck in another $1,000 for expenses and I see you're trying to screw your contributors for an 8k profit. Pretty disingenuous of you not to mention that you don't just want them to buy you a Banksy but to pay your rent for six months too.

On the plus side, I'm reassured to see that contributions are still at zero.
