Surely, POW would be better off listing what ever is left all in one go, under the artists list. At least then you have a fighting chance to bag something. They are playing with us. Muah ha ha ha ha!

I didn't have a clue what was dropping, when, how or where, if they had put the lot on at the same time I'd have missed everything. I guess putting it up in dribs and drabs is more manageable for them, also, hopefully giving me a chance to bag something I really want. |

I think it's a psychological thing. When something is in limited numbers it just raises the amount of people that want it. The game right now isn't really about the art it's moreso about how limited it is and how much it can be flipped for. Knowing you may never be able to get something again (even if you don't like it) can play on someone's mind.
It's a brilliant strategy by POW though. This is how you stay relevant and keep people interested. They're probably laughing their arses off watching people squirm for prints that were ignored for 5-10 years only to now be "sought after".
I'm guilty myself. I've seen prints sit for ages on certain sights thinking "I'll grab it later" only to get angry when I see it finally sold out. Granted, these are prints that I actually like and want to frame. I figure there are a % of people like that. Just not many.

As it happened for every art group/
art movement, the number of artists in POW roster that will be artistically remembered as historically relevant in twenty years can be counted on one hand.
IMHO Nick Walker is not among them.
Most of the money paid on many prints nowadays will be never got back.
PS: obviously this is not the point in collecting art...
