What about the record for S & S? will this stand or just be disregarded as a technical glitch? Depends on their findings, i suppose. Why would a price stand if it was fictitious ? I'm assuming some type of legality would render the truth regardless if it was high or low due to a glitch or hack.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by Boyle44 on Mar 30, 2021 17:58:57 GMT 1, Internet glitch at Christie’s caused last 6 or so lots to not be correct. Auction has been extended by 2 days which will allow people that was trying to bid have a go now. I’m sure you will see much different results once finished.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by Dive Jedi on Apr 1, 2021 20:35:58 GMT 1, Seems fair to lower the price a bit, considering the result at Christie's. It's not a fire sale either. Not gonna waste money to make money.
So you can own this all day long GBP60K print for GBP 55,555 / Euro 65,000.
Shipping & fees not included.
I know how to pack a print and will only ship it if it's 100% mint. Will provide photos before it will go into the tubes.
References will need to be provided. Nothing personal.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by Spenie on Apr 2, 2021 2:03:03 GMT 1, Isn't that what the seller at the recent auction would have received ? Always seems odd that people want to receive auction prices on a free forum without paying the auction fees? If sellers want auction prices stick the print in an auction. If you want to sell on a free forum then the prices should reflect that? That stands for all all sales not just this one. However that is just my humble impression of an art loving forum.

With that logic you would agree that if I sell this at an auction house with a Buyers Premium of 100% this print will be worth 120K. Because it will hammer at 45K regardless.
When people bid at auction the consider they final fees into the price. When they bid 45K they understand they will need to pay an extra 30% in fees, ARR and VAT. So they are willing to pay 60K and therefor value the print at 60K. If Christies would lower their fees to 5% it would hammer at 55K.
A seller uses an auction house for their services. To avoid discussions on a free forum and waking up knee deep in low ball offers.
As far as the business opportunity goes - I'm already in. No hurry. No worry. I'll be a millionaire regardless. Or not. Just will take a bit longer.
Not looking to sell this 10x. I only need 1 buyer who appreciates this print and wants to put it on the wall and enjoy it.
Cheers!

If you want to sell on a free forum then the prices should reflect that? That stands for all all sales not just this one. However that is just my humble impression of an art loving forum. I agree I don’t think enough people on this forum understand the market or how to value the service they’re offering alongside the product. Most value like this: My print value = Best hammer price ever achieved + ARR (even though I don’t pay it) + VAT (even though I don’t pay it) + buyers premium from top tier auction house (even though I don’t offer the same recourse, experience and provenance) + premium (because I’m special) - 0 (because I’m not paying any fees to sell). Some prints you may get a premium privately over buyers auction results, usually the rarer ones in high demand where people like certainty, some you may get somewhere between hammer price and buyers price (decent unsigned and most signed) but many you’ll be lucky to get hammer price less a small discount for a private sale (Talking about the unsigned crap from massive editions that most people on this forum massively over value). This can also change over time as supply and demand ebbs and flows, 6 months back you may have got full buyers price for a print you’ll be lucky to get hammer price for today. ps: I think the sellers print is worth not far from his asking price, just making a general point.
