Hey. I cannot disprove that right now as the lowest unsigned Sale Ends I've found is #51 and the highest now #120. But since we have seen v.2 #136 at Sotheby's, I still believe all LA versions of Sale Ends are sub 130.

My understanding is Sale Ends V2 is a completely separate edition of 500, it wouldn't make sense any other past image being part of it even if an altered version.
With the LA prints there were to be 150 signed and 500 unsigned. Time was a major issue hence only 6 prints picked. I believe going by the unsigned and signed that I've seen that the signed are marked 1-50/150 and the unsigned marked 51-150/500.
That theory makes some sense given the lack of time. Perhaps they got 150 of each print printed for signed and realised the time scale, marked 1-150 to speed up the process, 1/150-50/150 signed, 51/500-150/500 unsigned. Only PC could confirm though.

But it is believed POW only released enough unsigned versions of Applause, Grannies, Morons and Trolleys to complete the editions of 500. So if 100 of each were released in LA, then POW only released 400 of each.
Also, the POW Morons and POW Trolley images are altered versions of their LA counterparts.
You have just made me realise that what I am saying about Sale Ends, is not really any different to what POW already done with the other editions.
The only difference is, instead of making up the edition of 500 with unsigned prints, due to their impending closure and how appropriate the image was for the occasion, POW made up the edition with signed prints.
I do not believe there exists a POW print with an identical edition number to an LA print. Again, happy to be proved wrong.

You scummers hijacked this poor guys sales thread. ๐ There certainly seems to be a subliminal message going on here I have 2 of these in the family as I bought one last year from a Forum member and then another for my son (from Artnet) So effectively I believe that I was the last person to buy one of these at Auction and I paid $72k inc BP (late November 2020) I think ยฃ60k is a fair price for a private sale for this print considering a few months have passed.
So we know your artnet print is numbered 4xx and the one you got from a forum member I can almost guarantee is not numbered "much lower than 100"

lol hopefully someone more tech savvy than me can confirm whether any clone-stamp has been used to edit that edition number?! If not, you were extremely lucky to put a wanted ad on the forum in 2020 which resulted in you landing such a low edition number... You must know how and when the original owner acquired it? as it was not a lottery print.
Interesting that this falls within the signed LA version numbering though. If any numbers were unfulfilled back then, POW may well have allocated v.2's to said numbers at some point.
Also find it interesting that for someone with two of these prints in his family, you don't seem interested in engaging in a serious conversation about an issue that could prove/disprove your prints are 25% rarer than what we've been led to believe.

If not, you were extremely lucky to put a wanted ad on the forum in 2020 which resulted in you landing such a low edition number... You must know how and when the original owner acquired it? as it was not a lottery print.
Interesting that this falls within the signed LA version numbering though. If any numbers were unfulfilled back then, POW may well have allocated v.2's to said numbers at some point.
Also find it interesting that for someone with two of these prints in his family, you don't seem interested in engaging in a serious conversation about an issue that could prove/disprove your prints are 25% rarer than what we've been led to believe.
some people hold long term, and the market now will be irrelevant in say 10 years time?wasted time bickering in the fundamentals of todayโs market, when so many factors exist.
Plus not everyone is interested in the price increasing weekly as so many here used to post in the past
