Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by rparducci on Nov 30, 2017 12:00:00 GMT 1, Took a while, but mine finally arrived today. Never dreamed I would actually ever own a Banksy, so still pinching myself. Having been a lifelong fan it's a pretty special moment. Don't care about the value as I have no intention of selling it. It's a real shame people had to miss out, but who knows - there might be another release in the future. I'm sure none of us saw this one coming.

All it takes is two affluent people who really want it and it could sky rocket. Also usually there would be a good few on ebay by now. He is going to shed a little tear though when he sees that ebay is going to take a 2 grand cut. Strangely for once it looks like a lot of the prints are going to end up on the walls first time round. |

Indeed ! Know someone that has been offered £19k for this print (with the promise of requesting the COA from PC in a years time) and he didn't acccept it (OFC, he is not broke!)

eBay will take 10% upto £2500 and max it can be is £250 fee I think I just checked on the calculator, on a 25k sale it would be $750 for a US seller, and you are correct £250 for a UK seller. I always thought it was just a flat 10%. |

Saying all that if someone has a nice penthouse in the posh part of London I'd probably be up for a trade, would need a bit of cash my way though, any offers lol......

I am broke but someone would have to offer me an insane amount to even consider selling mine, it is possible this could be the last ever Banksy release. So if he is affluent he wouldn't even think twice about turning down that offer. I once saw the guy who delivered one of my Flight Logistics items drive off in his van with the side door open spilling other peoples parcels all down the road. They also once lost a Jago commission of mine for a whole week and a half. Not a bad record seeing as I've only used them 3 times.

What should I require of my local professional framer when I speak with them? I think I want to have it "floating" but other than that, I don't know what direction to give the framer. Any suggestions on the style of frame I use? I guess I'm thinking a plain black frame. Common sense would dictate to not use your "local professional framer" and instead go to someone who seriously knows how to deal with works of this value.

FL subbed delivery of an £18k print to the now defunct Citylink and it arrived covered in size 12 bootprints, only the crating supplied by the seller saved the print. Always ask them who they will use as courier.

He sometimes does trips around the UK picking up and dropping off artworks. Local framers can be hit and miss especially if they are not used to high value pieces.
