This can’t be true. I’m told there is no market for prints without pest control. Lol

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by jaym3 on Nov 30, 2017 17:24:02 GMT 1, Pest Control can issue COAs right now if they wanted to. It seems pretty clear to me that they have delayed issuing them to depress the value on the secondary market so people can't flip them for the full value. I guess in the end it doesn't matter what they intended, if people will pay full retail w/o COA. But hey, I'm just some random poster on UAA, what do I know.

Stick a 2 in front of the 8 and it sounds like something you would say, this month. I expect the 2 will be preceeded by a 3 next month or are we already there ?

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by Flashback on Nov 30, 2017 17:30:41 GMT 1, Everyone treats Flight Logistics like delivery royalty, they only sub their deliveries out to the same couriers everyone else does. I once saw the guy who delivered one of my Flight Logistics items drive off in his van with the side door open spilling other peoples parcels all down the road. They also once lost a Jago commission of mine for a whole week and a half. Not a bad record seeing as I've only used them 3 times. FL subbed delivery of an £18k print to the now defunct Citylink and it arrived covered in size 12 bootprints, only the crating supplied by the seller saved the print. Always ask them who they will use as courier. They used a delivery company i'd never heard of to deliver a 1600euro 195x115cm canvas to me that was crated the size of a snooker table by them and weighed 56kg.
I went down to help them ( I stay 3 flights up) and turns out it was only 1 delivery guy. I helped him to get it out the van and he dumps it. Said he's not insured to carry it up the stair! Cost me nearly £400 in shipping costs to have it dumped at the bottom of my building, not door to door. My elderly neighbour had to help me and it took us 30 minutes to get it up the stairs.
Not the biggest fan of FL and wouldn't recommend them personally after that episode.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by shrimpandgrits on Nov 30, 2017 17:31:46 GMT 1, Don't take offense, but I don't even know how to go about finding a framer who "knows how to deal with works of this value" since I'm not an art collector. Yes, I can google but I don't know how to vet the "local professional framers" against the class of framers you are implying are out there. I guess I'll contact the major international art gallery in my city and see if they can point me in the right direction. if you share which city you live in, i’m sure some members from the same place would be willing to share their knowledge of reputable framers who know how to deal with these prints. Sorry / duh - Atlanta, Georgia USA.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by Lroy on Nov 30, 2017 17:36:05 GMT 1, That chip must be getting awful heavy. Just asking... I have some questions to you professional framers and/or collectors ( what is a professionnal collector ? lol - one with billions ? ) : What means " floated " ? Will you use a ikea frame and do it yourself ? Even with another frame ? Would you leave to a freamer that you do'nt know your Sales end print ? Is Glass better ( sometimes the print falls on the floor ) or do you prefer plexi ? Is it good to put a frame liner ? I mean this ( see the pic ):
TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by wakeskater on Nov 30, 2017 18:21:59 GMT 1, Common sense would dictate to not use your "local professional framer" and instead go to someone who seriously knows how to deal with works of this value. Don't take offense, but I don't even know how to go about finding a framer who "knows how to deal with works of this value" since I'm not an art collector. They always do a solid job! Glad to see there are a few others from Atlanta on here.

Did you tell FL that it was going up 3 flights of stairs? And that;s what they quoted to do?
If i was a courier company, and i hadn't quoted to carry a 56kg crate the size of a snooker table up 3 flights of stairs, I would be dropping it off kerbside. I have heard too many times about carrying stuff up stairs and it scrapes a wall that just happens to be wallpapered at £900 per roll and they don't have the original batch so it will cost £10k to do the lot.
if you did tell them, then what was their response
