Some may be about £7-8 from the basic editions but the LA editions are usually a bit more.
Festival and Sale Ends do usually attract a higher price.
What with the matching set premium, framing, unique extra embossed logo etc I don’t think we’re not far off.
Everyone will have their own idea of price and if we went down the route of that old worn out debate we’d get the lowballers quoting the ripped,bad condition prints that got sold on ebay in Outer Mongolia at 3 in the morning for £200 to the bonkers results where someone thought they were buying Banksys personal signed copy and paid well over the odds with huge additional auction fees on top.The goalposts have been set and all the extreme options are out there to be quoted or shot at.
Having said that I already have individual offers totalling a figure not far away from the price mentioned if I decide to split the set and I originally based that figure around the suggestions of 3 different galleries.(I realise the danger of getting into the gallery and private sale price debate too. We’ve all heard it so no need to go there either.)
It is actually more than I was willing to take a few months back and twice as much as I was looking for when I was in need of cash about two years ago. At that time I had virtually zero interest shown in them but of course the market moves on.
I hope this helps clarify my thought process and also hope I’ve not shot myself in the foot by saying too much.
