All are mint condition , other previous old editions near the same edition size , roughly 40 % would be in mint condition and attract high bids, then you would have destroyed prints , condition issues etc ..the new print would be too much and flood the market m buyers would have more choice to negotiate ..even with the few that turn up for sale , there is hessitstion in sales, they are advertised for sale longer ..,suppose one of these needs to put in an auction to achieve record high amount and free or to get them selling

If it was 30k inc. fees then typically take off 25%, for auction house fees, and around 10%, plus VAT, so 10.2%, for auction house commission (that's not always the rate, but typical). Seller would probably have got around £20k after all that. |
