They said they were going to have an auction of Banksy street pieces. They they said they were going to preserve it in some museum made out of an old subway tunnel. Then they sell street pieces to some rich arabs.
They advertise as concierge which assume is driving around and looking after rich arabs.
What is their motivation for the book?

... surprised you haven't gathered all of the evidence of sincura taking away each of the walls etc out there ... they normally use the same people and 'scaffolders' ... so matching the photos that are out there to what sincura publish should be fairly straight forward ... hope you're not slipping in your investigative work

I won't be surprised if the book is delayed again or cancelled.
I can't see how anyone would use the picture in the book in criminal proeedings against Banksy. Though it's true that the picture could identify some bloke who could be anyone in reality. Doubt Banksy painted that huge rat on that wall all by himself.
Regarding not wanting any pictures shared from the book. Or published. That comes under UK fair use and copyright laws so getting a 250K donation would be very hard indeed as it would require a court case and prove breach of contract and damages owed.
Plus if someone in another part of the world reproduced and published the photos, then very much doubt there is anything sincura could do.
There dodgy terms only they have only applied to purchasers of the book from their website. People buying the book from a flea market or visiting a library or looking over someones shoulder when they are reading the book on a train and taking a sly phone picture of the photo of Banksy in the book and posting it online doesn't apply in their terms.
If sincura don't want the photo published don't print it in a book but there again this is probably all a publicity stunt anyway with a non existant photo of Banksy.
Had a look at sincura site. They certainly blow their own trumpet about being the top people to go to for their services. Then they also advertise they are offering sincura franchises at 10K a time.
