Thanks. Well not an official COA, but The Public Art Fund did send out an email with an attached pdf. This pdf contained the edition details. Together with the ebay invoice I would assume this to be sufficient to prove authenticity.
If printing it off it is two seperate pages so doesnt look like a nice COA.
I did this to mine...feel free to print off yourself.

So is this what this place is about then? Use a sales thread as a cryfest because you couldn't secure an print that was EASILY available to all for an entire day? IF you were a true fan you would have known about the availability. IF all the whining is true, you could easily secure one for waaaaaaay cheaper.
These posts are very, very rich considering the 100s of pages of people trying to convince others that a 10 pound soup can poster is worth 100x more than cost. Or any other release out there being resold here for much more than cost. I missed out on plenty of releases only to be offered that very day for way more.
Can't have it both ways. If I didn't list a price, you guys would b**chabout it. Make an offer or be quiet. Purchased this print months ago with the intention of keeping it. Get your facts straight before making judgements against people.

No I donโt think I deserve anywhere near the amount of flack Iโm getting. Not for something that was readily available for all to buy and sold out in over a day. Not for something that people can clearly make an offer for. I was going to put some other stuff up at cost but forget it.
And my post was in direct response to someone who told me they were selling at cost on eBay. Perhaps next time I wonโt post a price and let people bitch about that.

I placed it in a cheap frame (regular glass and wood feels iffy, but found on sale for $25USD). Well, the only place I had available for it was in the basement, right next to Fairey's Make Art Not War signed offset print. It's looks incredible! And after staring at it for a few minutes, I decided to donate to the IRC and Human Right's Watch. I want to donate to one more organization, but unsure of which one. I've also decided to get these pieces properly framed.

I think above is a fair point, It was not quite the same as a release the Bots have eaten up in nano seconds, and luddites like me didn't stand a chance of getting.

But mostly it is the same - still people trying to make an cheap buck from other forum members, leaves a bad taste for me and definitely not something you'll ever see me doing. If circumstances were different and I was desperate for some cash then I would just head to ebay with all the other flippers. But personally I would prefer to hook someone up and forgo a hundred bucks or two, which I always felt was the spirit of this place, the fact that multiple people are challenging that shows that I am wrong I guess. |
