i believe these were unsigned.

It isn't authentic, of course. But I think we can all agree that this version of the girl sporting a moustache and uni-brow is far superior to Bansky's original vision.

Whoever wins this will try to hawk it around, and once they get confirmation it is a fake, then they will return it. They have 6 months to do this if they settle through paypal (I wouldn't recommend settling any other way that doesn't recourse/remedies to disputes).
The upside is that if this is proven to be an original, well, the current bid price isn't so bad after all.
In the end the buyer would have expended all that time and energy. Their money will be returned in full.

It took awhile as I am located in the US, sent in beginning of August and didn't get it back until mid Sept. It was a different time then, I suspect that it would be much more challenging these days with all of the fakes out there, they may not even offer it at this. |
