I just dont get the whole defeated wall thing.
I have put a fair amount of my limited brain power into the why did they do this and i don't understand
Thought i liked the tower ones, not sure now if i would want one
What's it about? It irritates me, the old version wall i got, protest, talking point, wankers built a wall so they can ghetto people.
But the wall isn't crumbling, isn't coming down, it's there, big, bad, and illegal.
So is it like a fairy tale thing this defeated wall?

but there is nothing to this, its not funny, or witty or satirical. it's just errr.... nothing
We all know one day the wall will come down. But will there still be Palestinian families jailed behind it?

It was a sales brochure for a wooden schooner. I took that brochure home and spent many sleepless nights wondering what to do. It was a dream of boat and I loved it. I could afford to buy it easy enough but I knew I could not afford to keep it - not for long. I never threw away the brochure it just got lost in the paperwork. Some years later I got married had children and one day my daughter found that brochure and asked, dad what's this and I replied - a dream.
I guess that is what Banksy is selling here. We have to have dreams.

I also agree with @bren on the message of these walls...nothing has been remotely defeated and when it is no one is sure who will be left to scribble on the ruins...

The tower-piece just fits right into the box perfectly, I have not put it on the wall yet, but I will do so. The 4 golden screws are made for that. 16 € I think, works for the beginning for sure. |
