Really wanted to go, but it gets complicated going back home. Test results for Covid take up to 72 hours, but you need a valid test before re-entering the country, which by then will be too old. And quite expensive there as well. Can't risk being stuck there or needing to rebook..... Hopefully 2022 will be kinda normalish again. I suspect most people haven’t realised they been buying fakes - the posters are reasonably close, and I don’t think you’d know unless you compared them to a real one - the paper is different and not quite as crisp in the printing (as have been copied from an original one).

The receipts are also dodgy, with no blind stamp and the walled off hotel rubber stamp looks printed on in the same place. Gone to a lot of effort though, I expect the fakes might become more sophisticated as/if the value rises

At least the seller has a bad review, I hope that will help other collectors not to buy his crap (and he has a lot of it on Ebay!) |

It was never placed on the wall or nearby, similarly the Love Hurts balloon. For me the art on these wall sections have to be ones that are/were on the actual walls, I am less bothered about the Peace Dove, as that is on the side of a building in Bethlehem, and not on the wall. Call me a purist but I feel exactly the same way

I'm really stupid to have miss these sculptures before the online drop. But, I'm grateful to Banksy to have made these available like that. Because as a modest collector (apart from wall sections, I only have a color Trolleys bought from POW in 2007), I'm very happy to have them in a quite small edition even if it's very small.

I wanted only images painted on the wall or in the surroundings. But, now if I had to keep only two wall pieces, it would be GWRB and the defeated heart on olive base.
