I realise all the movies i see nowadays are 15 or below. When i was younger, loads of movies were 18 (ie predator/robocop etc)



But now I don't think you see a lot of 18 rated movies at cinemas - I watched Logan and thought "blimey, what does it take to be an 18 these days" - from checking not many movies have been over last few years - bar say 50 shades stuff for obvious reasons.



Is 18 rating the kiss of death for a main stream movie now? Gone Girl appears to be the last one I have watched (and i have zero idea why that was an 18 compared to more violent movies?)



Wolf of wall street as well - excessive drug taking in that one, so makes sense?



have the censors just got more relaxed?
