I enjoy it every day, and dont feel like a moron because of owning it.

I don't think the message is specific to that print but street art in general especially high prices of canvases at auction. Interesting if you look at what his ogs were going for at auction prior to this release. I don't think the statement is related to prints as in truth prints are small potatoes just my thoughts

I have the signed sepia print and I love seeing it on the wall everyday.........don't like it as much as the soupcan I had but that bought me a VW campervan and a new synthesizer:-) I prefered the Soupcan but Morons is much more impressive on the wall.

I don't think it's a comment on street art at all but rather a comment on the art market generally. Banksy made this piece for the 2006 LA show when there wasn't the same buzz around him there is now, although he was still popular obviously.

Interesting comment. I've had mine hung in my dining room since I got it from POW and no one's every suggested that - though who knows maybe they've thought it. Doesn't much matter. I like the fact that it's a bit tongue in cheek -- it's good not to take yourself too seriously:

Banksy Morons Print, by Rolex on Dec 20, 2011 0:38:54 GMT 1, I've been thinking about purchasing a b/w signed morons for a long time, & I can honestly say I've never once thought he was taking the p**s about owners of this print, ( or doing a gerald ratner ) more like as others say taking the p**s out of the art market in general. My reason for having second thoughts on purchasing one was other than one red banksy most of my art collection is black/ white or grey & feel maybe I need to add some more colour in to it, so for now at least I'm looking for a coloured soup can & then maybe a morons. Deffinatly a great print though !

That is a stand out piece of Banksy art. Classic framing.
Personally, Morons and Trolleys (B&W, signed) are my holy grail of recent releases. Sepia is underrated too (IMO) and I might be in a position soon to underwrite Hooker's search / swap.
