(was trying to wait until 2008 when prez monkeyman is finished destroying us)...
received my first banksy, i'm in los angeles and got it in the mail today. let me tell you how happy I am with the print. it looks stunning. i was worried, like many, that i was going to be hanging a fresh chuck of banksy pooooo. this is not the case. i will post pics later.
also if anybody in the los angeles area knows of a good trustworthy framer (not crazy expensive) please let me know. maybe "AgentBacardi" you might have a recommendation. i am also waiting on a "Ghetto Ghost" and would like to take them both in later this week.
i'm going back to salivate over my new print.

I live in Studio City, so that's where my framer is. Where do you live? He does a great job, and really knows Banksy works. He's not insanely cheap however, with a single mat and a single frame, I would estimate about $170 for your morons (before tax - TO HELL WITH UNCLE SAM!!). Anyway, if Studio City is far from where you live, then nevermind

Cool indeed!  Do you have any pictures?
It was the patience and strength prints... I think I was the first to order because I got #15 of each. I think the strength one is printed on the back. It is basically the same image except it looks like they got intentionally sloppy with the ink to make it stand out. Anyway, I got it framed the same day I got them and didn't take a picture... kind of regret that now. Kinsey just released a couple more prints a day or so ago.

Congrats on your first Banksy!
Now I must give my advice... don't skimp out on framing!!! Even if it means waiting a month or two to save up the funds do it right - in the end you will thank yourself for doing it right the first time.

They have artists/art students working there and they always do a great job. Use the $20 off coupon you can find in the Val-Pak, and always negotiate down their quoted price anyway. You'll get something great for just about as cheap as you can get it.
Two other good options: Aaron's Bros art store -- they actually do some great framing and their prices are very reasonable. I'd say, cheaper then Great Frame Store, but not quite as good of quality.
Finally, there's an art store in Venice Beach at Lincoln and Washington (just north of Washington on the west side of Lincoln) that you can negotiate prices down with. They do a great job and have "cool" people working there with a "cool" sensibility -- you might get something creative from them. I bet they know who Banksy is.
