He was supposed to get number XYZ/150 of the signed one, and that's what he got. However, he also received another tube, containing XYZ/500 from the unsigned edition!
One curious thing though... the number, XYZ, is actually below 150 (quite a ways below, it was even way below 140)... which means it probably overlapped with a number that was used in the LA release. I have an LA print (not Morons) which was just a few numbers below this XYZ... which makes me wonder: How do they number the prints? Do they just read off the Protx printout/database, refer to which customer gets what number, grab a print, and write that number into the stamp without much thought (I can see how this chore can become robotic after a while)? Because otherwise... if they had pre-numbered the prints beforehand, and then allocated the print to each customer according to the Protx database, number XYZ/500 in the unsigned edition would never have happened. And even if Protx had screwed up and said that my buddy should have received XYZ/500 of the unsigned edition, it wouldn't have existed, and they would have caught the problem...

also no mention of anyone getting a morons below number 50 from POW.

Low number.... not under 50 but very close to it......
Looks a LOT better than it did on screen- a lot lighter
I don't think it has been in the tube that long....it will more or less stay unrolled without anything to weigh it down (just did that to get full pictures).

if you have a number you were not asssigned i would contact POW other wise your provenance will not be as it should be. Its better to be safe than sorry as there have been a very few cases of prints with the same number.

And as far as I know to those who haven't gotten theirs yet, they were shipping as late as the 24th (or possibly even later), so try to have patience. I know I'm still biting my nails.
