Banksy Laugh Now Print, by Quinnster on Jul 30, 2016 17:27:05 GMT 1, It seems that they are the same size & image as the signed ones but say AP / I am sure there is someone on here with more information about the difference if there is one. Thanks - Wear Yes they are the same size and image as the ed 150 but marked AP, 69 is such a random number, i can only put it down to the artists smutty humour!
As these are stamped I recon they were released quite a while after the normal edition and they had 69 laying around.

The ed150 were stamped, well most were stamped, theres prob a logical reason, i just like the smutty random theory

Banksy Laugh Now Print, by Prescription Art on Aug 1, 2016 12:21:07 GMT 1, As these are stamped I recon they were released quite a while after the normal edition and they had 69 laying around. The ed150 were stamped, well most were stamped, theres prob a logical reason, i just like the smutty random theory POW only introduced their stamp in I think early 2005. A lot of the prints like Laugh Now were released in 2003/4, so the prints sold before this time are unstamped. The ones sold after they started stamping the prints have the blindstamp on.
Most of the APs were released at a much later date, and have the 'wrong' signature on IMO. E.g. the signature on this is similar to the one on CND & Jack and Jill - which came out at Santa's Ghetto in 2005, rather than the 2004-style signature found on the original signed run.
So though the COA says that this is from 2003, I think most of the AP editions were released in 2006.

Ah that makes sense re ed150, ive had both stamped and unstamped, more stamped though, they must have been stock sold later on. Any theory on the number 69 James? There has to be a cheeky grin at the high number too, the emphasis the artworld puts on APs that are the same as the released edition, a morons undertone of sorts.

I received a lot of PM's all with the same question - How Much ? The price I quoted has now been lowered by 10% for a quick sale. Thanks - Wear

Banksy Laugh Now Print, by astrobboy on Aug 11, 2016 9:53:41 GMT 1, Laugh Now Unsigned Edition of 600. Unframed. COA in hand and registered with Pest Control in my name.
£8,500
Located in Sydney (Australia). Postage through Flight Logistics (or someone reputable) at buyers cost.
It was previously framed and had some acid-free tape on the back so I recently had it removed by the International Conservation Services (the #1 restorers in Australia) and it now looks fantastic. It's now sitting flat in a portfolio folder.

Banksy Laugh Now Print, by londonfx on Aug 11, 2016 14:39:10 GMT 1, the slight waves are just the natural way the paper goes.
I took my laugh now print to the framers last week. And it's been stored flat since purchase. But there was a very slight wave to it.
The paper isn't great quality, and it's just the way it goes. I don't think It means that the print isn't "mint" condition.

£200 or so with Bignell or similar and it'll be right as rain - just needs a little press, won't damage it at all.

Hi Guys I'm selling my framed Laugh Now, it's unsigned and I have the COA, I'm letting it because i want to raise funds towards another Banksy piece.
To be honest I haven't had it long, for complete transparentcy I bought it from Hang Up in June and I need to raise funds to buy the other Banksy. I'm not cash rich so I have to sell to buy, I'm trading my way up slowly, hence why I need my investment returned.
This is is an iconic piece and has been framed to a high standard by Darbyshire of London so is ready just to hang on the wall without the extra framing costs.
Soon I will also be selling a unsigned Love Rat, it will unfortunately have to go because I need the funds for the new purchase but I'm currently waiting on the COA from Pest Control for this and I'm hoping it won't take months! so if your after one of those watch this space! I can't buy the one I want without selling both so I won't be rushed into silly deals.
I had lots of messages about the Love Rat too so I've added a picture of it, I recently had it framed...nice hey!
Thanks for looking, I'm based in Gloucester and work in Bristol so happy to meet up close by so drop me a line! Cheers
