I assumed they must be busy ! I walked past the back of Willow Street on Sunday night and the lights were on windows were open..

Most forums eventually reach a point that they become functionally useless and die off, and that point is when they cease valid discourse and simply become a religion, a rigid social caste of "insiders" adhering to an arbitrary set of inclusion rules. The initial reason 'd etre for the forum is irrelevant at the point the dogma is set as the sole value of a member. It becomes no more than a simple popularity contest. It happens to all forums eventually unless they are actively steered and maintained.
Irf2112 couldn't even comprehend that perhaps maybe I was just annoyed at someones useless verbal diarrhea repeated endlessly saying nothing at all. It so happens that if anyone read my last post, I attempted to start a discourse on the relative value and strength of this last set of prints, and that I DON'T particularly care for one, as I don't think they were that strong. So no, I wasn't jealous I didn't get one.
People did, however, note the heresy and blasphemy of such a statement, and started hitting me with negatives for simply stating such a politically incorrect and non-worshipful thing as that I didn't like a particular Banksy print.
Having an opinion = BAD
Following Dogma = GOOD
The point system here will likely continue, if not accelerate this trend, as it will have a chilling effect on anyone debating making a statement not firmly within established dogma. In effect they act more like "conformity points", and little to do with respect.
It is no wonder that the Ebay forum folks refer to this site as the "Darkside" They may be pompous and abrasive sometimes, but they know how to keep the bottom feeders from dominating their forum. They know to call BS when they see it. Here it will just get me voted off the island by irf2112 and his moron buddies for not being enough of a "member of the team".

With 28 posts under your belt you missed out on what team R'Fresh was... Not about owning a print or a 'TEAM' just a bunch of guys waiting for the next Banksy print. A bit of research would have helped...

funny how banksy's first little book was called 'Banging Your Head Against a brick Wall'.
prob didn't get a print - Jealously of not being a member of the team... So thats what it's really about isn't it? It's not about anything but the following party line and being part of the clique. Must have latest print to be "member of the team". How charming. Most forums eventually reach a point that they become functionally useless and die off, and that point is when they cease valid discourse and simply become a religion, a rigid social caste of "insiders" adhering to an arbitrary set of inclusion rules. The initial reason 'd etre for the forum is irrelevant at the point the dogma is set as the sole value of a member. It becomes no more than a simple popularity contest. It happens to all forums eventually unless they are actively steered and maintained. Irf2112 couldn't even comprehend that perhaps maybe I was just annoyed at someones useless verbal diarrhea repeated endlessly saying nothing at all. It so happens that if anyone read my last post, I attempted to start a discourse on the relative value and strength of this last set of prints, and that I DON'T particularly care for one, as I don't think they were that strong. So no, I wasn't jealous I didn't get one. People did, however, note the heresy and blasphemy of such a statement, and started hitting me with negatives for simply stating such a politically incorrect and non-worshipful thing as that I didn't like a particular Banksy print. Having an opinion = BAD Following Dogma = GOOD The point system here will likely continue, if not accelerate this trend, as it will have a chilling effect on anyone debating making a statement not firmly within established dogma. In effect they act more like "conformity points", and little to do with respect. It is no wonder that the Ebay forum folks refer to this site as the "Darkside" They may be pompous and abrasive sometimes, but they know how to keep the bottom feeders from dominating their forum. They know to call BS when they see it. Here it will just get me voted off the island by irf2112 and his moron buddies for not being enough of a "member of the team". Perhaps there are enough intelligent folks still on here to keep the board vital, and as evidenced by the fact he has 30+ negatives himself already in such a short period of time I hold out some hope the dross will get eventually get flushed off the forum.

My print came this morning and i was a back door orderer at 17.15.
I am over the moon as this is my first banksy print and hopefully first of many. Now all i need is the frame for this monster.

Looks pretty damn good, I'm off to the framers, hopefully it'll be on the wall within a week, I'll post some pics in the Get Your Banksy's Out For The Lads thread.

I can't believe how big it is, people keep saying how monster it is and I was like fair enough it's big but when you see it there you are like woah.
