Anytime I bring up the forum to an artist - the first they say is "oh yeah, thats the place where you guys all rip on artists and only talk about values not aesthetics. So with great reluntance and remorse having to sell this. Waiting for the paint to dry and then shipped to me, so not quite in hand yet. Looking for sensible offers in region of £5000. London based, no references to give, but buy with confidence, I am a woman, so I can be trusted.

Last year, on the same item, I made an offer on ebay, which seller accepted.
He came back to me a week later saying he couldn't ship it unless I was paying $600 more, because "it was damaged and needed Professional repair".
I refused, damaged art shouldn't be more expensive than the agreed transaction!!! So the transaction was cancelled, I reported to Ebay, who didn't care.
Now the item is back with no mention of the "damages" or the "Repair".
Voila, I hope the google algorythm will inform any potential buyer of what they are getting into!

That's interesting...if I remember correctly this was my edition especial (remember the bottle cap) that I sold to someone in France. Would be interesting to know if my seller sold it afterwards - otherwise it's definitely a scam.

the wood support was very fragile and it was broken during custom inspection (I know of a few desprestigio that had the wood support broken during shipment).
easily repaired with some wood glue, you can't see the damage.
I ended up with my Desprestigio in my office and a 50% refund from DHL insurance( I got a refund of 2.5k eu.) they offered me 100% art refund only if I sent proof of a fully destroyed piece.
As some member told me back when this happened:
-"in a few year you will be happy it ended that way".
Now I can say that person was right.
Also because I love Pejac art more and more
