That Pomet print was dull, poor and uninspiring. If Pejac's sculpture is a take on this then it's a thousand times better executed. Very fresh.

Not by Pomet  ... on the Pomet thread had a bunch of haters who would bring up how original Pejac was and Pomet copying another artist etc.... guess he’s not that original... but I still like much of Pejac’s work.

Like a it's a memory of a persons thoughts written down and passed through time. As a multiple it cheapens the idea and becomes a labour of production resulting in a commodity, rather than the inspired message that the artist wanted to portray.

Even when martin whatson did his hand finished dancer prints the variations seemed to be pretty standard. I compared mine with a friend and hers had one set of hand finishing and mine had a second. As I've looked through pictures people have posted I've seen pretty much only those two styles of hand finishing. Thanks for the thought |

It appears in the video that when Pejac paints the "oil" running down the red top deck that the lines of oil appear different on each set... |
