i purchased a obey icon offset print from eBay which I received today. I had pre bought a 24โx36โ frame from ikea to put the print in but when I went to put it in the frame I realised the print was too big to fit. I have checked on a number of sites selling the print which all say the size is 24โx 36โ
Iโm not sure if this is a normal thing for print sizes to vary in size or not & im starting to question if itโs genuine. Has anyone got a copy of this print that I could see some photos on to compare.
Any help would be appreciated as im a bit of a UAA noob

What is the measurement of the print you received and any pictures showing how it does not fit?

โI didnโt purchase it, he gave it to me. I was in Shepard Faireyโs studio in LA & he told me to help myself to some prints. I took two of thoseโ.
Iโm sure there is a possibility this could be true but there was no mention of this on the listing. If the artist had personally given me a print I think that is something I might mention when selling the item.

I don't like "the artist gave it to me story", you paid with paypal? What's was the price? Any pics of the print / the signature?

The Jaws print is an example of one print (18x24) that didnโt fit an 18x24 frame exact.

It makes no sense why you would choose to pay ยฃ50 + ยฃ8 shipping NOT from the source instead of $30 (roughly ยฃ22) + shipping FROM the source. Are import fees on a ยฃ22 item really over ยฃ30?

As Iโd seen the same print for sale in Nelly Duff for ยฃ90 I thought ยฃ50 was a good deal. Iโve spoken to the seller & they are happy for me to return it. Lesson learned.
