Dry Mounting , by gd79 on Dec 2, 2017 15:39:42 GMT 1, I'm curious as to why this is such a no no. All of my photography works are dry mounted on aluminium. It's crisp, clean and never has any paper movement, which seems to affect all my prints that aren't dry mounted. It can be floated much better or edge to edge. It makes the print almost indestructible
I think most of the prints sold here would look better dry mounted to aluminium. But it is taboo!

Dry Mounting , by gd79 on Dec 2, 2017 15:43:28 GMT 1, I should have added that I can see plenty of cases where dry mounting would lose something - hand torn paper for example... So I know there are exceptions.

Dry Mounting , by nobokov on Dec 2, 2017 16:11:02 GMT 1, After visiting EB too much, all I see is "fucking" and "fucked" whenever you write drymounting.
