Banksy Red Stamp, by vincenta on Dec 5, 2017 23:52:36 GMT 1, Most would probably feel it's more desirable to have the red stamp on a print than not. However, in practical terms is this reflected in any real cash value difference when purchasing prints from this generation. My sense is that it's a factor when deciding between two identical condition prints, i.e. buy the one with the red stamp; but yet those two prints if sold separately and at different times would likely yield the same resale price. Am I correct on this?

Banksy Red Stamp, by Warm Gun on Dec 6, 2017 9:00:10 GMT 1, I'd rather have one with a red stamp if I had the choice but I genuinely don't think it adds a monetary value to the print. I've not seen any clear evidence on it, (an auction with identical prints) maybe buyers have subconsciously paid more for the stamp but it's hard to gauge as the value of these print shifts so much. POW were inconsistent with their stamps on the early prints, some have red stamps, some not, some have the POW stamp, some don't and some prints have both stamps or neither of the stamps. In short, I think the image and edition size play a larger role in desirability.
