Price, all about people getting top dollar for their art but sometimes prices make me.... lol... and due to how the market behaves, reminds me of crypto currency so ride that wave.
I know there is some hype behind it right now but these were going for less than $1K in Aug and Sep on ebay now because it was on TV it spiked, let's see if it holds... GLWTS
And? Banksy going for less what people paying today...things can change rapidly..there is a print on ebay with little crack...offers are over 1300 euro.

A printed Banksy is nice to see but it is a copy. A printed Monet is nice to see but it is a copy. Why buying art when I can print my prefered artist via printer or copying machine.

It wasn’t a criticism just an idea, a signed print is better for value yep, but the download was a decent size file, not a copy ,released by the artist.

I was going to reference the We the People release too. There's a lot of hype behind this image right now and, if I owned one, I'd probably be selling now. Not many recent Fairey images get this high and stay there. You never know, I could be wrong though and maybe it'll keep climbing. I have been wrong plenty of times before.
I do also agree with a previous poster that an open edition (24x36) seems likely at some point which could have an effect on the value. I know I would love a print of this image and wish I wouldn't have slept on it at the $500 or so they were going for until recently, but I am WAY out at the current prices and will hold off for an open edition or maybe just print my own from the free download Shep made available.

WTP Ltd Ed paper stock is pretty thick, but the larger off-set lithos, my goodness...they are thin like butcher's paper and all arrived a bit wavy.

I do think it has an effect,maybe not a huge one, but I do think it's there. Going back to the We the People Set, I really loved the images (and so did my wife which is a huge bonus) but I missed the screenprints originally. Planned on trying to track down a set, but once they crossed a certain point pricewise I decided to settle for the signed offset lithos. Now that I have those hanging in my living room, my desire to spend $1k+ has pretty much gone away.
Hell, at one point the Greater Than Fear screenprints were selling for $2-3k and now they're about $800-900 all in the course of about 8 months. The last WTP AP sets Shep released not too long ago sat on the site for a few days at only $1300 for the set, so, to me, the offset option definitely has an effect, but hype can also die down as quickly as it comes. Just saying, if you plan on selling, I'd take the $2500-3000+ you can get for this print now because I don't think prices are going to stay that high forever.
