I"m a big fan of Saber and his crew, El Mac and of course would love to see a few Retna pieces. Does anybody know of any good locations for these and anything else worth spotting for new visitors to the city. Thanks
Retna painted the sides of the American apparel factory on 7th and alameda. It's a rad piece. The banksy parking piece might be tough to see as they're building a new condo in the parking lot, last time I drove by I couldn't glimpse it anymore.
I live in Dtla...there is an abundance of street art down here...check out the container yard on 4th street off alameda...if you're lucky you can hit it up on a day their open (check their Instagram)...walk down 4th, there's a dope fanakapan and Christina Angelina piece on 4th near the arts district.
Also, the melrose area sees a lot of street art at times too...

I'll check out Google maps and plot me a route out. They all sound great and I'll visit them all fo sure. On another note seen as everyone is in such a helpful mood. Is there any better coffee houses than Intelligentsia? The place in Silver lake was my favourite last time I was there a couple years ago

Sadly, I haven't either. But will be stop number one next time Im in LA. May be worth while if there aren't any shows going on. Date Farmers are showing at New Image in Hollywood, which could be worth a visit. Also, maybe worth strolling down to Culver City...thinkspace, robert and tilton, etc etc down the same road.

Never bought anything as the minimum price was around $10k, but love this book! A lot of Local LA/West Coast US artists that usually don't get a lot of love on this forum.
The ones I recognize are:
Pic 3 is Gregory Siff like you mentioned
Pic 6 Is Smear (that's his iconic face)
Pic 8 is Snyder - Very popular artist in San Diego where he lives, and draws a lot of those characters that he calls "doodles." Great guy, does a lot of scavenger hunts
Pic 11 is the Legend Army of One, really an incredible story if anyone doesn't know it. He's a firefighter from September 11th, turned to art as therapy, traveled around spreading his message, and sadly passed away. Google him, really incredible story.
Pic 12 is Mar as you mentioned
