You can still see the piece down the alley. As for other recommendations Iโd say the MOCA, itโs right across the street from the Broad. Also LACMA, they have a nice Frank Stella exhibit at the moment.

Itโs across from the ACE hotel and in a small alley across the street. The parking lot that was there when he did the piece has become a huge apartment complex.
