There's several times during which different folks will be arriving (5, 7, 9pm etc.), so how do you define "after party"?
I'll be at the 5pm, but I doubt that I'll be staying there all the way till after 9pm... should we organize something on the opening day (not the preview) day instead? Sometime around 10pm or so. Just a suggestion.
As for the location... Roosevelt or the Renaissance? I say Renaissance.
If you see me, come up and say Hi! I'm the one with the green hair (just a tad)

I'm off to California in just over a week. I'm going for 3 weeks and will be in LA for a while. Does anyone know of any exhibitions or other interesting art related events going on? Also, if anyone wants to chuck in anything non art related that I must do, I would be very greatful.
Also, (pushing my luck) I am off to the Cook Islands, New Zealand, Sydney and Thailand, so if anyone has got any suggestions of interesting things to do in these places, that would be extremely cool!

Oh and if you just come across any nice pythons (diamonds, blackheads, womas etc) just put them in your bag and bring them back for me yeah

If you're into Audrey Kawasaki, she has a show at Copro Nason Gallery called Mayoi Michi that opened this past weekend you may want to check out.
Nick Walker's show at the Carmichael Gallery runs though February 24th if you're in town.
There's also a new show at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) on Grand downtown called Collecting Contemporary that's decent.
Two of the new Banksys are on Beverly Boulevard, as are the two new Nick Walker Moonas and there's another new Banksy on Melrose.
