I see that in this article he is very careful to only refer to refugees not economic migrants who the no borders anti white mob say should be allowed in with no security checks or conditions.
The west has more ideals and support of human rights for far longer, than many of these non western countries.
Greed, pull the other one. Blaming the west for the greed of the borgouise and bankers and political elite means blaming the people who are western or white european is what Weiwei and his backers and supporters really mean.
The biggest colonialists and opressors and it still goes on today are the people who colonised Africa took slaves and forced Africans to convert to Islam. Today some of these countries are still seeing slavery as legal, still trying to spread their hate of the west and doctrine to other countries. saudi had a hand in creating the problems which caused the Rohingya crisis.
It's not up to the west today to feel guilty about the past.
