Where does Banksy rank on the Most Influential Artists?, by moron on Feb 5, 2018 21:29:24 GMT 1, Walt Disney, very influential. Stan lee, Marvel comics etc etc.
Photography in the 20th century not so much. Maybe Man Ray but TV and newspapers shoved celebrities images in everyones faces.
Punk Rock, Viviane Westwood and similar arty types.
Ronnie Pickering far more influential than Banksy.
Banksy number one for urban and street art sort of revival of neo expressionism which I guess was what galleries called Haring and Basquiats graffiti back in the 70's and 80's.
The Rothkos, Twomblies and similar, not influential in any way shape or form. The art so bad that dealers came up with the name abstract expressionism to sell it to rich old farts with money.
The art world is a racket, the art world is fixed, it's a rigged game designed to part rich people and their money.
Many big names are not influential. Bit like Hollywood really and so called influential actors and directors and studios. Just hype and bullshit diped in gold.

The early Banksy prints are very iconic recognisable as Banksy, produced years ago. I'm wondering how do the prints and editions that Banksy makes today compare with his early prints?
Mutualart is a good site with large images which is good for Banksy collectors and also bad as it's possible that fake prints and blowpop record covers etc that are appearing more and more these days are done by taking images and information from sites like mutualart etc.
