I'm looking for more information about the artist Puuung. It's not necessarily 'urban' art as in graffiti tho, so I doubt if this is a good place to ask. But, lets try.

First you can visit Samcheon-Dong/Insadong (there are a lot of galleries, Perrotin is also there), it's nice area, you can easily spend a full day walking around.
Then I would also advise to spend time in Hongdae and if you have time, a walk in Iwha dong (Iwha Mural Village) is always very nice

Youโll have no problem finding good local restaurants as theyโre everywhere. Just bring a phrase book, a bit of courage and a point at the pictures. Theyโre not that veggie friendly if thatโs needed! Try going to Jong No Sam Ga for wall to wall neon blocks of restaurants and hofs (pubs).
Art wise, try Apgujong / Chongdam for the more upmarket Opera galleries. Insadong has some good local arts and crafts. For a more bohemian area try Hongdae. Iโd avoid Itaewon, which is the waeguk (foreigner) hub.
Hotelwise, again depends on your budget as all the big chains are there or gamble on a local โloveโ motel!

One of the only galleries I went to was the Leeum Samsung gallery - some great permanent installations. Obviously the DDP Design Plaza is worth checking out, especially if you're into architecture. Another place was D Museum which had a great show on when I was there.
Food-wise I stayed strictly mid range.
Gusto Taco is probably the best Mexican in Seoul.
Wood and Brick was good and is around a fairly cultural area worth checking out.
Isaac Toast was a super basic toasted sandwich place where I think part of the draw is just watching them make it for you.
Kyoja is an authentic Korean eatery. Definitely the type of place where you stick out (if you're not Asian/Korean) but great value and very tasty.
Ewha Womens University is another great/unique piece of architecture I'd recommend.
Mealtop is a popular shaved ice place. Not bad.
Yeah I ate a lot.
As for bars I mainly went out with friends there and just went with the flow so can't remember the names of any of them. A good area was Hongdae. It's a uni area and a lot of the bars are busy with a great atmosphere and have cheap drink deals to cater towards the students. Also a lot of clubs with posters outside detailing how I'm now too old to go in. Probably a good thing.
As mentioned where you stay of course is budget dependant. I stayed at Big Door Small House, which is a modern, minimalist and no frills hotel. Pretty good price and great location to get around from.
