I was waiting and saw it about 3-4 minutes early, swooped up mine but many were caught off guard as it was slotted to drop at 12PST.
I wonder if we will see more to throw off bots or just an error by the gallery. Curious for those with bots, if the bot was set up would it have caught the early drop? Is it running all the time?

So knowing that that is possible, I would imagine bots would be more advanced and be able to detect the update to the page and buy it?

Unless for some reason they turn it on right at the drop time which wouldn't make any sense. I believe they're essentially a page monitor with a script that buys either the newest item listed or an item with a specific name/keyword.

Really happy with it. Gondek is great and looks like he took his time with the embellishments even though he had 100 to do.

I have no idea who the artist is so I'm sure someone will inform me, maybe its the guy who draws the Simpsons? Actually if thats the case, its very cool and I'd buy one.

I know he is busy as I tried for a commission last year. Was able to get his last two hand-embellished releases and they are great but there is something missing with this one. I'd also like to see him try something out of left field, something we would not expect to showcase other aspects of his talent. |
