I hope both buyers and sellers feel we have acted with integrity. Expect the same scrutiny to be applied to all lots consigned with us. We are in no way soft on provenance and if we accept a lot for sale we will stand by that decision until proven to be incorrect.
With regard to the matter of change of ownership this is unconfirmed. I have received no email or spoken to a buyer who has been refused.

Integrity is the issue unfortunately as the company involved in the creation of the numbered editions of the prints in question have asked for these lots to be removed, the change of ownership issue will be confirmed if the question is asked. You can ask this question and confirm either way.

Not a massive surprise that Police has more important stuff to deal with than this...

I recently bid via Invaluable for an item (not a Chiswich auction, by the way) and they gave a totally different hammer price to another bidding platform which was hosting the same auction. Surely the hammer price should be the same regardless of what bidding platform you use, shouldn't it? What's going on? |

Consignments are now being accepted, mail Danny@chiswickauctions.co.uk to discuss any works you are considering consigning. Our aim is to present the best selection of urban works possible. The consignment deadline is 5th November which is only 3 weeks away so time is short. Our aim is to pay all consigners before Christmas on lots where we have been paid instead of the usual 30 days. To aid with this if you are a winning bidder please be prepared to settle buyer invoices in a timely fashion.
We will be having a preview event at Chiswick either 4/5th Dec. I’d like to get as many of our supporters and fans of the work to come and enjoy seeing it on view. Its also an opportunity for us to thank the community for its support and acceptance.
