To be honest I can see how Parra may be looked at as anachronistic in terms of what's going on all over the world.
I do get the irony and I personally don't find it offensive, but let's say I am not shocked that someone may be.
Nick Smith is more of a technique practice, the meaning is the right distance from things, not the things themselves
