I have no idea what such an example is worth on the current Market.

I have a couple of signed prints outside of the main editions that were given as gifts, one to me, one to swoon. If you're buying from the curator and happy that it was originally his, then it's a signed banksy. If it's through a third or fourth party, then would leave well alone. The MQ is one of the many that were forged.

What would be a fair price for both of us?

I purchased an unsigned Monkey Queen print a while back which had some creases and marks on it. About a month ago, I managed to find a so-called professional art restorer who told me he would be able to remove the marks and lessen the look of the creases for me which I was delighted about.
I gave my print to him about 3 weeks ago and waited for him to get in touch with me...which he did not. After much stalking on my part and avoidance on his, I eventually managed to get him and it became clear why he has been avoiding me - he has made a total mess of my print 
The stains are gone, but the creases remain (they actually look like they have been ironed deeper into the print) and - the worst part - the pencil numbers are pretty much gone!!! One of the creases went over the numbered section, and what he has tried to do is cover the 'cracked' areas with more black ink. This has resulted in him covering over part of the pencil numbers!
So now I need to know what to do with it?! Do you think I should leave it as it is now, frame it and hope it looks ok, or maybe cover all of the numbers completely then write them back on from scratch??
I don't really plan on selling it or anything, but I don't want to do any more damage to it as it did cost me a lot of money.
