Before everyone gets into a bit of a tiz ... there is no need to start showing lots of photos of the backs of prints on the Forum ... what will be next - at least 4no photos (numbered) aswell, to show each of the corners?
It is up to the seller to show a reasonable number of photos 3/4 of the piece, I would suggest in a sale - otherwise there will be less interest.
If the parties get together over PM and are serious, then the parties can exchange email addresses and share as many photos as they wish.

Banksy Christ With Shopping Bags, by lobster on Aug 31, 2015 13:20:01 GMT 1, Maybe it has been for sale for a while is simply because people can't pull up the money ??
Great print and great seller IMO - when prints like Green NBG are being quoted around ยฃ14K + etc and Strawberry Donuts ยฃ12K + this is a great value print bearing in mind the history behind it and the size of the run.

Banksy Christ With Shopping Bags, by rebelate on Sept 1, 2015 3:47:41 GMT 1, Maybe it has been for sale for a while is simply because people can't pull up the money ?? Great print and great seller IMO - when prints like Green NBG are being quoted around ยฃ14K + etc and Strawberry Donuts ยฃ12K + this is a great value print bearing in mind the history behind it and the size of the run. Just because something is QUOTED at a price doesn't mean it's selling or valued at that price. There are unsigned Banksys for 20-30K USD on ebay or gallery with stale inventory asking thousands more than what something can be bought on the forums...once again doesn't mean anything. Show me where a donut sold for +12K GBP. LOL just stop man, you're obviously going around hyping up prints that you own on other people's threads, you even trolled onto my wanted thread doing the same...I'm willing to bet you own BOTH a Green NBG and a Donut. The forum is a tight community, it doesn't take much to figure out if someone's got an agenda.
Going on someone's for sale OR wanted ad and stating any type of assumption, scenarios, OR opinion on pricing can directly effect the deal in a positive or negative way...

I don't own a Green NBG but when I enquired the price at a gallery a few weeks back they quoted me ยฃ14k and said that was the going rate and they were more expensive than a grey NBG.
i am not saying that's what it's worth but it's a bit harsh to berate someone when that's the quoted price. i turned down signed Banksy's in the past because I was quoted ยฃ2,200 when I thought they were worth ยฃ2,000 so let's see where we are in a few years.

Let me get this straight...
You called a gallery and asked for a price. They backed it up by saying that's the going rate. Then they justified it by comparing it to the price of a cheaper color way.
You may not "say that's what it's worth" BUT did you believe them? I'd be interested to know if they still have the print or not from a few weeks ago. That's the part that drives alot of people nuts, just because that's the price someone's got it listed for or quoted doesn't mean it's what it sold for. I can tell you how many times I've bought something for HALF the price initially quoted from galleries. Regardless I'm not familiar with NBG pricing, I just don't follow those numbers. But I am familiar with the Donut, hence my statement.
Also just as a side note...you do know that post wasn't to you right?

Banksy Christ With Shopping Bags, by lobster on Sept 1, 2015 8:00:33 GMT 1, Actually " man " I have no interest in " hyping " up the cost of Banksy prints and I am sure if I did (!!) it is hardly going to make any difference to the price of these prints and if you think that anyone's opinion on this forum makes any difference whatsoever to prices within the Banksy market then you clearly are delusional.I can imagine the head of Christies prints logging into this forum EVERY day " f**k me Repeblete has said that Donuts is being hyped lets reduce our estimates " !!!.
I thought the guy that said that Murderones CWSB wasn't selling because it was damaged was an idiot and was simply making the point that its actually that people cannot pull the money up and also giving my opinion that older prints like CSWB - smaller runs and more iconic images - represent great value compared with what newer prints with larger runs are currently selling for.
In terms of me " trolling " your thread - you offered $12K for a Donut - this is less than ยฃ7800 and what I can assure you and certainly regardless of how many Banksy prints I do or do not own you will not find one for that ??
" Let me get this straight ..... " You have been looking now for this print for over 6 months - what does that tell you ??

" Let me get this straight ..... " You have been looking now for a fairly long time for this print - what does that tell you ?? OK now that you're done editing I'll respond.
The majority of your response is irrelevant so I'll just get straight to the point in hopes of staying on topic.
1. My response to the two bold lines in your first paragraph... Yes you do have interest, because you own the print that you're hyping up...DUH? And if you truly believed that it didn't make a difference then why waste your "breath"? Hmmm...what a thought right? Lastly, that hilarious Christie's comment made me wake up the dog is laughter... This forum is not Christie's, it doesn't demand the same values. If you spend that much money on marketing, getting fat wallets into a room, and have a shiny gavel you could sell a salt shaker for 10 times what it's worth outside of auction, but to think that your salt shaker at home is worth the same, if not a few grand more because a week has gone by, is absolutely delusional my friend.
My response to the bold line in your second paragraph... "Iconic Image!" blah blah blah your hype terminology is strong like a bull. The crucifix itself is an ICONIC IMAGE, however in terms of Banksy's works CWSB wouldn't fall in the top 5 of "iconic Banksy images". Moreover, I wish I was in front of you to see the lightbulb light up above your head when I say this, but did you ever take a second to think...CWSB is a controversial image?! Wow missed the ball on that one too huh? But wait let's assume that people just need more time to 'arrange funds' instead...ya that sounds much better. I'd never put toxic mary or CWSB on my wall because its potentially be disrespectful to my house guests as well as my religion. I still dig both images, I'd put them in my portfolio but I don't come on here steering one way or another.
My response to the bold line in your second paragraph... I my offer was "$12k-13500 USD" and still stated that I'm flexible. But yet of course you missed the ball on that one too because again, it's not in your self interest to state the FACTS.
My response to your last line... It tells me that there are a lot of Banksys that are in physical conditions that are not acceptable to me. I am extremely anal about the condition of my print collections and have passed up on three because of damage or tape marks, lost two deals to someone in UK because they didn't want to ship over the pond and sold locally, 3 guys decided to hold on to them after almost finalizing negotiations - including one on here who's wife made him keep it after she had told him to sell it -, one e-bay scammer who never sent it (look up fineartacquisitions thread) and last but not least I passed on many Donuts with insane asking prices that haven't sold for months from galleries and disconnected collectors who believe the hype like you.
Any other questions I can help spoon feed you answers on? Hope I didn't lose you.

Banksy Christ With Shopping Bags, by lobster on Sept 1, 2015 8:58:48 GMT 1, In terms of me " wasting my breath " ( !! ) - AGAIN the point I was making was that I felt that M1s print had not sold because people could not pull the money up AND that I felt that the older prints represented good value compared with what the newer prints sold for - aside from the image they also tend to be smaller runs ( as is the case with CWSB )Ii certainly have no interest in selling any of my Banksy prints and once again a detached comment from me about the price of certain Banksy prints will have no affect at all on the market !!!
Thank you for " spoon feeding " me the answers and I do just have one question for you - aside from your misplaced arrogance why exactly do you think you have the right to pass judgement on " the top 5 Banksy images "

Banksy Christ With Shopping Bags, by lee3 on Sept 1, 2015 18:40:23 GMT 1, There isn't a better banksy buy on the market that i'm aware of at the moment just in terms of price and leaving art out of the equation. My better half is simply not fond of the image or I would have paid more than this a year or two ago. I love it but alas respect the buy what we both love rule. I would expect this to be 25k minimum at a gallery and framed like that, more like 27. You shouldn't need any luck but good luck just the same. That donuts discussion above hurts my head a bit but worth noting the last one (pink) at auction was a tad over 11k gbp.

Banksy Christ With Shopping Bags, by DrWhite on Feb 23, 2016 17:56:22 GMT 1, Another fantastic piece - it's a pity that the ยฃ/$ exchange is at its lowest in my recent memory, it really makes a purchase from the states much more expensive- before shipping and import duty
