wow. I said it would be the first to sell out, but when anything sells out it is still such a shock to me :-)

I was at POW on Wed - maybe I should have bought one instead of the other two.

I think the placard rats are very underated. The image is really good and I like all 3 messages. I guess they aren't the greatest VFM though (same print for a much smaller print) so maybe that puts some people off?

Also I like them because I' have seen several of them up in London - 'Go back to bed' is a favourite

if mine was 108 how come they have almost sold out? do the numbers not run upwards until the end of the run?

I don't think they necessarily get sent out in numerical order, as I have ordered 2 of same print and yet numbers have been miles apart.

I been to POW and the way the work it is they have a lots of shelvels with all the prints on there, some are already numbered and others are numbered as they go along, so usually they go out in numerical order, but somtimes the first print in the pile gets lifted of and the numbers get slightly mixed up, plus you get the odd anoying customer like me who wants a nice even number. And as far as having a low number, dont think it makes much of a deifference as print 10 might not be the 10th print to come off the press it could be print 300. But I think its just nice to have a lower number (makes you feel more special).

Finally recieved my print. Its pretty nice actually, I like it more than i thought the number is 128/175 so not too many left now.

In about 20 purchases I've had all sorts of slight anomalies in numbering. it's just human error I think. I keep all the email confirmations, printed receipts (when I go there in person), bank statements and emails etc, so IF I ever had to sell anything (instead of selling a kidney - I don't plan to sell either a kidney or my prints) I have it all..........

are you saying that the rats are a 500 run with 150 signed? or are we to believe that POW's figures of 250 run correct irrespective of colour?

If that is the case then the POW website is wrong.

I bought under the belief that the print was limited to 250 (that's what it states) with 75 being signed. No mention of Red or Pink. I thought the colour issues were similar other prints.

I would be very cheesed off if it was a 500 run as you state and not 250 as POW claim on their website.

I think TheVoiceOfAuthority does mean a total run of 250 but its hard know how to explain it

This thread is for photos only for framed GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN RAT prints. Rather than spending all that time looking for examples of a this print framed up... you can see and post examples in this thread! This will allow everyone on the board to have a look at what other people have done with each print to see how different mats, frames, and mountings look for each individual print. This should be a good way to save time from searching all over, plus it will give you some nice ideas for your Banksy!

Feel free to add photos of your framed example in each of the appropriate threads, there is a "Framed" thread under each print listed in the 'Banksy Limited Edition Prints' section. To keep each thread manageable and on topic, please refrain from commenting. Also, remember to resize images that may be oversized so everyone can have a proper look at your framing work!
