So can someone explain to me why this print is now worth double what it was 9 months ago & 25% more than it was 3 months ago & please don't say supply & demand. I think people are just trying it on because they think we are out of recession.

Banksy Pulp Fiction Print, by craigf on Aug 24, 2011 22:12:06 GMT 1, I'd never before heard of one going as low as 800 before, I would have said the going rate was 1.4k for a long time, then dropped a bit to around 1.2k and have steadily risen over the last 12 months as have most of the unsigned prints (have you seen what rats go for these days!)

You know what, it never was one of my favorites, I was happy what i sold it, the only other 2 in comparison at that time were a damaged one @600+ ish and an ebay sale @950ish - it had to go quick to fund a Queen Vic that fell thru on EB 
still dont feel as if i've lost anything, i know it's on someones wall being enjoyed, where it belongs 
Right now, personally, i would put it at about 1100/1200 as a realistic valuation 12/1300 with PC in hand. I wouldnt pay over that for it... i hear they're £50 on ebay now hahaa

Banksy Pulp Fiction Print, by soundwavebeatbox on Nov 30, 2011 20:28:50 GMT 1, alrite all i was very silly and payed £1100 for a banksy unsigned pulp fiction i got it on ebay im from bath and the bloke was from bristol he said he got it from the green tea leaf shop it has nothing with it to confirm just penciled in bottom rite hand corner out of 600!! this was about 3 years ago just when i got in to art need to get pow to check it if its real how much is it worth 2k? i love art sooooo much its my life sold my audi s3 to buy loads of dolk lol art id my life!! thanks hope to hear from some people cheers again calum

Do you have the name of the guy you bought it from? it might help, but they know the numbers of the prints supplied to greenleaf, so will be able to check the print and give it the nod. |
