Banksy Pulp Fiction Print, by kbfrombk on Nov 14, 2013 16:29:48 GMT 1, Might have this one available for sale. With Pest COA, currently framed, but can be taken out of frame. US buyers would be preferred, b/c of duty and international shipping fees. Could potentially do face to face in NYC area. Please note: I would be doing this as a flip. I know that's looked down upon, and I'm not crazy about it either. However, I'm saving up for a Girl With Balloon (which I will keep forever)--and trying to be creative w/ making some extra money. Honesty is the best policy. If interested, PM me w/ offers. Photos could be sent to serious suitors. Thanks, does THIS come with BOTI car mirrors??

I take it you were not a fan of the car thing. Full disclosure, I made one sale off of that, which was the gas door. The other items weren't from a reliable source for a flip, so I nixed it. That was my only other venture into a Banksy flip, and it was for the same reason as this (saving for the GWB).

Banksy Pulp Fiction Print, by Jimmy Oscar on Nov 14, 2013 18:43:45 GMT 1, I'm in NYC but I'm loath to just fire a price in the hope it's in the ball park.
Can you at least make it clear what is your minimum - then it saves all the 'time wasters' contacting you.
I might be a time waster - but I just don't know yet!
Should be a minimum on all sale listings imo.

Banksy Pulp Fiction Print, by kelly on Dec 2, 2013 20:32:32 GMT 1, Hello all! It's been a while since my last post. Just thought I'd keep you updated and pick your fine brains.... I have finally received an email confirmation that both my flying copper and pulp fiction are indeed authentic and I'm just waiting for the COA in the post. The time has come for me to look at selling these fab pieces of art, I will be sorry to see them go but unfortunately getting money for a deposit on a house has taken president. So my fine friends of urban art, what would be your rough estimates for these pieces? They are both framed and in mint condition. Do you think I should sell to a private buyer, gallery or put them in for auction? Thanks in advance!

You asked the same question(s) just a few months ago. Add a bit on top of what has already been said and you have your answer.
Sell privately, preferably through this forum. That way both you and the buyer will be happy, instead of one receiving/paying too much.

Banksy Pulp Fiction Print, by johnnyh on Dec 3, 2013 14:30:51 GMT 1, If you want to move them set your price and start a for sale thread. Flying copper will move very quickly and would not expect Pulp to last long either.
Galleries will probably low ball you. Auction houses will charge fees so must get over what you want to do the same as a cash deal but if lucky your F copper could go very well always the possibility of a daft price but must be the right and a decent auc House.
If you know what you want I would bang it up here at that price and shift it. Just to be open I have a SigFC and no int in pulp so this is my thoughts rather than a buying ploy

Banksy Pulp Fiction Print, by Deleted on Dec 3, 2013 15:21:19 GMT 1, In terms of the make-up of this forum it is probably a reflection of the wider world. Inotherwords, it has its conmen, its time-wasters, its pre-pubescent teenagers, its genuine buyers etc etc. If you do offer it for sale here, spend a bit of time looking at that members history, contribution to the forum, who they are offering as references. While not definitive you will get a rough idea of who ( or what type of person ) you are dealing with.
If you can get a face-to-face cash deal go for it - in a safe place of course.
Good luck.

Haha. I always get a laugh re this. Would you buy a used car without asking all the necessary questions (as secondhand art sales don't roll directly off the gallery floor)? No such thing as a time waster in my mind when it comes to anything at these prices (even if at going rate). Especially when doing a deal with someone who is selling a piece of art that might not have many references.
And Kelly. Please know-No offense to you, your credibility, or what you're selling. I just get a kick out of the 'time-waster' bit on this forum when contemplating buying an incredibly expensive piece(s) of art.

I can only assume it's my COA's! if it is them, that was bloomin' quick. I only paid for them on Monday afternoon. Is it wrong to be feeling excited at having them tomorrow?

Banksy Pulp Fiction Print, by kelly on Dec 15, 2013 10:56:37 GMT 1, This print has minor imperfections. Just below Travolta's banana there is a hair line crease, although I'm reluctant to use the word crease as that would imply the prints at some stage has been folded. Also in the top left corner there are what I can only describe as excess ink marks. (They can only be seen upon extremely close inspection) I have photographed them as best I can.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Thank you for your questions. 1. I have opened two threads as I am selling two pieces of art work. I had mis read the advise posted by Daniel Silk and shall amend the posts accordingly. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. 2. The price stated is an asking price. (As my mum always said, if you don't ask, you don't get) This of course doesn't mean to say that I'm not open to negotiations. If I am fortunate enough to agree a sale price on these pieces then I shall of course honour the agreement. If that means that someone should offer me a higher price the next day after agreeing a sale in principle then it looks like that'll be my hard luck. I shall operate on a first come first serve basis. 3. As for my avatar, let's just say it's my take on life imitating art!
best wishes Kelly.
