Still trying to get my head around whether that was a good deal or not. A U/S PF would normally go for more than that, or has been recently, so this was a bit of a steal if the print is original. Its easy to say its worthless, as previously stated on the forum, but its worth as much as the market will pay, which is over ยฃ800. Funny one really. I was quite tempted but i think i'd always look at it and know its not quite right, hanging on the wall with a dubious signature. Maybe we'll never know the truth behind it?

The Banksy vs. Warhol has already been priced in just like the LA micallef show hype has just been priced in. This is the summer to cash in in my opinon.
As annoyed as I am with high prices how can I blame people? If I had an unsigned pulp fiction and someone offered me $5,000 for it. I'd deliver it and a dozen roses by hand. 
On another note, people are comparing this exhibition to the Basquiat vs, Warhol exhibition of 84 or 85
FYI, that exhibition was an astounding failure (very few pieces sold) and created a riff between the two artists to some degree and I think depression in basquiat. Interesting story.
