Imho it's a great image, and very personal to him and his life.. bold choice for him, and shows (Imho) that he's going to stay himself regardless of the publics want, or market needs Hear what youre saying about it being the artists choice. But to help your confusion... do people really hang work on your walls just because they like the artist. Regardless of the image and how/if it resonates with you? Especially a $550-$650 print.. On this specific print Id guess over half the buyers are people looking to double thier money. Not put it on their wall. But would love to be prooved wrong.
. Actually yes. Thatβs how I ended up with a Bast on my wall. His Instagram made me like him. The print was just newest but not best when I bought it. I love it but I observe the print through the lens of his process and creativity allowing the print to take me to a bigger world that is his rather than seeing just that one image.

I just wouldnβt fly a flag for something that I donβt belong to. doesnβt mean I hate gays - calm down. Itβs not symbolism itβs not a picture of any LGBT, itβs a flag.
I compare it to the Zedsy Palestine poison Apple print where as I support Palestine but to fly the flag in my home would feel wrong as I am not part of that community therefore itβs not my flag to fly.
