For sale originals - banksy herakut, invader, Rome, price ??, by pdjones512 on Apr 22, 2018 10:38:20 GMT 1, For sale: Great piece with big name artist.....no picture.....requesting you all send me (blindly) your highest offer (hoping someone here is either new or dumb enough to offer me twice what this item is really worth)
Now that I have your attention.....can the admins please at least add a required field to new postings (just like the subject line) that at *least* requires the seller to include a number for asking price?
Maybe it's just me (and granted I'm a relative newbie here) but it's tiring to click on a sale thread only to find there is literally NONE of the most important info included (let me see it. And tell me how much). I can't be both the buyer AND seller of an item so the whole "send me a PM and tell what you'll pay for this" is silly. No? If you're a seller, then to make this thread easier give us interested buyers some idea of the price you already have in mind for it. Seems like this will speed up transactions and also reduce the clutter of for sale postings that want some crazy stratospheric price (banksy walled off box set for 5k+ or an invader kit for 10k+)
I welcome your criticism, but I couldn't help but just ask

Whilst it might hampers one’s sale not to do so, there is no rule that a price has to be included in a sales thread. Oftentimes a price might be difficult to state, especially in relation to originals, where there is no sales history readily available. I agree that not including a picture is counterproductive, though.

For sale originals - banksy herakut, invader, Rome, price ??, by Nick on Apr 22, 2018 11:05:22 GMT 1, We'v been through this dance before, a few years ago. You needed to add location, price, and other details. Although it seems like an obvious and good idea, it did not work well. Some pieces are tricky to price and people will just fill in the field with the word 'offers' instead of the price anyway.
