There is a GWB for sale in my local area but the advert states it does not have the POW embossed stamp. The picture details for this print do not seem to be on here so I would just like to confirm that there is a possibility of it not having this? If so would I be looking for the rubber stamp instead? I have not even been to view the print yet but I don't want to waste my time if it is dodgy 
go down the ' do you have / can you get - provenance' road - then verify with PC.

Sounds like no POW stamp isn't necessarily a deal killer.
If for whatever reason you pass up on the GWB you're looking at - Please pass the details onto me.

But I wanted to see if I could find a consensus (or at least a ballpark) of what buyers should expect to pay for an *unsigned* GWB now-a-days?
I haven't been able to find a whole lot in recent history - which probably means these are in the hands of collectors / on walls - which is a good thing.
So, as a buyer what should my expectations be? ยฃ1500? ยฃ2000? ยฃ3000? I've been searching for a bit, and seen some up over ยฃ5000, so I figured I'd hand this one over to the experts (yeah, you guys) for a better read on the climate.

ArtNet might not be a bad idea. But I figured there were collectors over here that may be keeping more detailed notes.

Yeah - I was wondering if it was just the angle / my eyes playing tricks on me.
Just looking at other framed versions... the white space between the top of the balloon and the matte seems... less.

Nor have I. Could it have been modified? Or perhaps the top of the print is behind some of the black mat?
Hoops - What are you getting at? Are you trying to show that there's a LOT more white space (distance from top of print to top of balloon) in the image you linked?
