I sold them for lots of money, and I used the money for important things, not just stuff. I bought a lithograph similar to the painting, and framed nicely, and I keep it in my home to enjoy when i miss the paintings.
My advice is similar to what someone already posted. If you sell it, buy a great piece of art, take a great vacation, buy a wedding ring or a car or something that makes life easier better or happier. Whatever you do, do not sell it and slowly piss away the money or you will regret it.
