Grading a Print, by schoki74 on May 7, 2018 3:58:37 GMT 1, Hello,
i was offered a print that has had water damage an pin holes. It seems to be professionally restored but one can see the restoring of the pin holes. The water damage seems to be restored nicely. The seller ranks it at 7 or 8 out of ten.
Now i am concerned about maybe longtime problems with the water damage and the to me unprofessional restoring of the pin holes. Not very attractive if one decides to resell. The seller states he refused an offer over 1k but i am nowhere near that.
So how would one in general rate a restored water damage and restored pin holes.
Thanks in advance for your insight and opinions.

If you love the print save and get one worth your time in terms of quality. Worried it's rare and doesn't pop up often? They ALL eventually pop up.
If any of that is if no use, disregard

Grading a Print, by dotdot on May 7, 2018 11:07:37 GMT 1, if it was restored , ask the seller for the contact details of said person then contact them to ask about what was done...
pinholes.. yes part of the story from some early on. bluetack is another culprit - seen that on a few banksy prints... sounds comical now - but when you see it .. on something you're about to buy - the thought doesn't ring true.
gl btw..
