B- Draw is 100% fair on 40-50 prints, the other are allocated to faithful collectors
C- Draw is not fair at all, max will select carefully the 80 who will win the print
I would go for option B-
Option C would really be unfair since the lottery was not free (opposite to deprestigio)

Option B does not seem very fair to me either. If you organize a lottery in the name of a charity, it should be fair.

Its an interesting question, does anyone know exactly how many of the edition are part of the lottery?

To be honest I strongly doubt any of these lottery methods are fair. I would put money on either holding back prints to give to 'friends' or putting prints to the side to give to others who reciprocate. Its the only reason I can see that so many of the usual suspects on here 'win' these lottery systems. The only question - if this can be proved is it illegal?? Maybe something to think about and look into. |
