Everyone will need to complete the sale soon no matter which piece they've gotten. If you liked it in the first place then surely you still like it now? Just purely because it was available for me, and from the message I received it sounded like everything was so hugely oversubscribed blah blah blah I do still like it, that hasn't changed - trust me, I have unusual taste and am used to liking what other people find to be deeply ugly. (Hope my wife doesn't see this haha)
It is a big purchase but I think if you're in the position to buy it and it is something you really do want and youll enjoy seeing then go for it. Im sure youll have countless hours looking at the details with a magnifying glass, and itll sure be something to talk about.

His pieces are generally well thought out and thematically political. From his extremely methodical approach on the Desprestigio sculptures (which also had historical significance) to each of his previous print releases, there is a message being presented, which is more than can be said about a lot of current artwork being released.
As a native New Yorker, I was thrilled to be able to see some of his exterior work in person and was truly blown away by the simplistic, yet profound "Fossil." I have friends that are not artists, nor art collectors, who could not believe that the shadows Pejac created were all made with paint and that actual bricks had not been removed.
As far as price...that is another topic that is extremely subjective (for any artist). Unfortunately, I am priced out of the market for any Pejac piece, as it currently stands. However, I think both Pejac and Max are extremely aware of the current demand for the pieces and have priced them as such. I personally think 5500Euros is a but much for an A3 sized piece of art, but when you take into account the prices for his prints on the secondary market, the prices in the PDF are pretty spot on.
I hope all the forum members that want a piece are able to get one and I hope all my Parisian friends enjoy the show!

Instead, I will be travelling by train on Friday, arriving at around noon. I decided to buy a few lotterytickets for myself, friends and family. Let me know if there are members on here who want to have a lotteryticket (and the print of course). I will be more than happy to buy a few extra. Wholeheartedly agree !
His outside work is spectacular I find, but his inside work is at best decent both in execution and intent
I still look forward to seeing the show and genuinely appreciate what he is doing...but once again the UAA bubble effect is strong

His thought provoking work and execution captured me. In some cases the message can be subtle, but it is always done in a clever and unique way.
Honestly, I can't think of any other (relatively new) artist off the top of my head that is as clear on his vision than Pejac. His work is unequivocally his.
It ticks my boxes - simple and effective.

I keep reading that he does not have gallery support. For me this couldn`t be less important. His art caught me from the beginning. I do not care if other people - or especially gallerists - like it as well.
I keep reading that his prices are too high. If his prints sell for thousands on the secondary market, why shouldn`t he raise the prices for his pieces? When Scattercrow was released people were complaining about the price. It sold out in a heartbeat. Same with Deprestigio. And I guess same with the incredible drawings for his show. Buy a 5000 โฌ print on the secondary market or get a small but stunning original for that price? We`ll see if Max was right with the pricing but I think it will sell out as well. Demand and supply. And no, I do not have the intention of hyping Pejac. For me prices already are too high and I can only buy a new piece if I sell one of the prints I have so I would be happy to see less supply, less hype and lower price tags to be able to buy more works from him. For him I`m very happy to see that he gets paid for what he does. I think he deserves it.

I love his art and the ideas. Glad to own some.
