Banksy & Invader Prints, by rasco57 on May 12, 2018 18:47:33 GMT 1, Hi guys, I have had an Unsigned Banksy B&W "Trolleys" and an Invader "Clockwork Orange" and an Antony Micallef "God I want to be bad" in cardboard tubes in my storage for a few years now.
Its a shame to have them and not putting them on display to enjoy, I currently don't have anywhere to display either.
So can you give some guidance as to expected value for each print, and where is the best place to market them if I decide that that is the way to proceed.
Thanks in advance guys.
Rasco.

Banksy & Invader Prints, by Poster Bob on May 12, 2018 19:29:11 GMT 1, Flatten the Invader and the Banksy. Immediately list the Invader on Artnet. Apply for the Banksy COA and with any luck you'll be able to sell it in 6 months to achieve its full value.

I've had a lot of people come back disappointed with their service recently.
Take it to somewhere like Darbyshires. For this kind of service it'll be the same price and better quality.

I've had a couple of pieces sorted with bignell within the last 6 months and had no complaints with his work infact quite the opposite.

Fair enough, I can only comment on my own experience and friends who feel that the service has definitely dropped over the years, having had issues with their own works.

Any personal experience? Intrigued. Thanks.

Banksy & Invader Prints, by eye like on May 13, 2018 9:00:07 GMT 1, If it's flat that's better news! I would estimate a good condition B/W Trolleys would be around 7.5k-8k for a private sale and 8.5k-9k through a gallery right now. But others will I'm sure have other views.
It's interesting to hear that other members have used Bignells and not had good experiences. I've used them several times in the past year and the work has been universally good. In fact they worked miracles on a couple of prints I thought were basically unsalvageable.
But it is quite a big studio with several people working there, I wonder if the quality could be dropping because they are over extending themselves, or perhaps some of the team just aren't up to Graham's own high standard.
My only negatives would be that the prices don't seem to vary as much as you might expect given the varying level of conservation required.
Also it's a complete nightmare to park round there which is a pain if you're having to carry something particularly valuable.
That said as my experience has been so good I would continue using them.

Banksy & Invader Prints, by Poppy Sunshine on May 18, 2018 15:22:17 GMT 1, Graham Bignell has always been awesome for me but just out of interest has anyone had any experience of any of the restorers further North than London in case any of them are more conveniently located?

Not that much further north but I can highly recommend Caroline Harrison near Bristol (Caroline Harrison Conservation.)
