A lot of new places/pop-ups opening all the time, but that also makes it tough to keep people coming back. Young people only seem to want to go to the latest instagram place, which doesn't really promote loyalty (or good food, just photographable!) Also all the food bloggers don't really critique restaurants, they just dine there, usually subsidised, and provide the reader with generic information. The bloggers are afraid to say anything bad, incase they don't get invited to the next freebie meal. ..sorry to ramble... I enjoyed the show!
The ladies from Epoch were exciting... I look forward to trying their restaurant when it opens. Atul Kochhar is a gem. Lydia Forte was short sighted.... the ladies could have easily hired a front of house ....

epoch - i'll never eat there (i'm not their market) but those two had a vision (cutlery please!!) which is cool.
i'd guess not a place "for" people who take photos and put them on insta !!
the other chap - had a few good ideas - but lacked proper direction (salt?) & it showed , but he took the feedback..
tl:dr - worth a watch - different from DD , in a good way.
