Its from his 2008 exhibition at the truman brewery on Brick Lane apparently or thats at least what the certificate of authenticity seems to say, wondered if anyone had seen it before as i couldnt find any images of this particular piece online anywhere...
Also, not that im looking too but i wanted to know roughly perhaps what it might be worth as im almost positive its worth more than the £35 i paid for it, any ideas would be smashing....

Anything that’s remotely different to his classic style seems to be really hard to shift. I followed the piece you bought and the guy originally had it up for £200 I think and just kept reducing it.
It’s odd because I absolutely love his work and he was one of the OG’s of the Bristol scene, so think his work should be worth a lot more. He is, as is often stated, very underrated.
It is worth noting that his style has changed quite a few times over the last few years and some of the stuff, in my opinion, has been a bit too out there. It lookslike he’s focusing on painting originals at the moment and his current style is absolutely amazing imo. Definitely worth checking out on instagram.
In sum - His market is very flat at the moment and I think you’d struggle to sell it, therefore making it ‘worthless’ from a monetary point of view. As a work of art however - priceless old school Sickboy. Love it.

From what i remember the exhibition was held in Rivington Street at The Tramshed, not Brick Lane.
I've still got some signed sweets which you could pick up off the conveyor belt coming out the side of the sweet factory Willy Wonka stylee

And yeah no plans to sell this piece, was more curious than anything really. To me £35 for an original sickboy is a good deal, spoke to sickboy very briefly about it and it was a bit of a 'blast from the past' as he put it. Havn't hung the piece yet as i might be moving but its currently lent up against the wall in the living room.
